How Your Data Is Used
When you provide us with your information, it is so that we can efficiently fulfil orders or promises made to you – we also use traffic to help make our website work better for our visitors and customers. We may use it to send you communications about your order and/or newsletters. To keep this site operational, we use third party contractors and consultants – or indeed online tools, like ActiveCampaign which we use to manage our emails. These individuals have signed data processing agreements with us, and it is only such individuals who may have sight of your personal data.
External Website Links
Sometimes we will provide links to third party websites – these will always be relevant to the content of this site. Any affiliate or sponsored links (links that we receive a commission for) will be clearly labelled and will only be for trusted businesses.
We are not responsible for the privacy policies of external websites.
Your Protection
We take your personal data seriously and understand it is a privilege to have it. We therefore employ several measures to protect the data you give us (directly or through cookies and interactions). These measures help prevent unauthorised access and/or misuse. Sadly, there are tools distributed maliciously onto personal computers that may capture your data without your knowledge.
We are unable to prevent such activity on the devices you choose to use to visit this site, therefore this privacy policy only applies to security we can directly control ourselves.
By using this site and giving us any information, you acknowledge this is at your own risk.
Children
The website is partly designed for children and so we are aware that we must be extra cautious when processing personal information. The children’s section is contained within the “Kid’s World”, separate from the “Grown-Ups’/ Teachers’ Worlds”. In the “Kids World”, children mainly participate only by playing games, reading e-books and/or watching videos. We generally do not offer any place in the “Kids’ World” where a child can sign up or enter personal information themselves. Typically, the only part of the site where anyone can enter personal information directly, is the Grown-Ups’/Teachers’ Worlds. Accordingly, in most cases, we do not anticipate that we will be collecting personal information directly from any children. We anticipate and assume that we will be collecting personal information only from parents/guardians or teachers.
If you are under the age of 13, you may only use the website and provide personal information if you have the consent of, and are supervised by, a parent/guardian.
If we believe a child using the website is under 13 we will not process any personal information of that child without the consent of the parent or guardian. If the user is 13 or over we will only collect and process personal information as the long as we believe the user understands what is involved.
